In the ATHENA trial, MULTAQ achieved a 26% reduction in risk of CV hospitalization—an endpoint largely due to RRR in hospitalizations related to atrial fibrillation (P<0.0001). Event curves separated early and continued to diverge over the 30-month follow-up period. Efficacy was established in addition to conventional CV therapies.¹
